Eleanor Erde Stern graduated from the High School of Music and Art in New York and studied music in the New York and Chicago areas. She has performed as a mezzo soprano in the San Francisco Bay area for 15 years and is a member of the Music Teachers Association of California. In addition to teaching voice and piano, she composes music to the poetry of local and nationally known poets.
